Ladies,

Wow!!  What a phenomenal Women on the Move Luncheon we had.  Although we have hosted over 25 of these luncheons, there were still many more achievements of which to be proud.....most importantly funds raised for our mentoring programs.  Our honorees chosen by our judging and interviewing committees were fantastic.  Their stories never fail to touch me; and their videos were so engrossing and inspiring.  Over 40 members of TEW volunteered to serve on the many committees involved in making the day   a great success.  Thank you to all who gave of their time and talent.  We began and ended on time.  Our Raffle Committee raised over $12,000.  We've already collected and tabulated comments, critiques, and suggestions from the various committee members and are beginning to organize next year's Luncheon.

This year has flown by.  I want to thank you again for giving me the honor of representing you for 2011.  It's been a year of changes and challenges.  We've worked hard at branding TEW and reminding all that Women on the Move is a part of Texas Executive Women.  Our website has been revised, and is much more user-friendly.  Our programs this year were interesting and brought us new members.  We had former members re-join and become involved.

I want to thank my board for serving with such due diligence this year.  You were very supportive, and any of your criticisms were constructive and well thought out.  We're each busy women, yet you found time to rally round when necessary and pitch in when called upon.

It was a privilege to serve you.  May the New Year bring you each health, happiness and success in all of your endeavors. I hope to see you at our Texas Executive Women events in the coming year.
