August 12 - Martial Arts Expert Rick Short
This meeting will be a seminar to give us the tools to control fear and intimidation, so that we can act with “smarts” when faced with a potentially violent situation. Rick Short, who has more than 20 years' experience, will teach us simple techniques that we can use to stop an attacker in their tracks. He will discuss violence encountered in relationships, at random, and in the workplace (remember the Post Office workers).
Come prepared to participate, learn, and knowing our group, have fun!
