Congratulations to Bonnie, who definitely exhibits all of the qualities of excellence and who served as president of TEW in 2005.

Her community contributions are matched by her professional contributions as owner of BLB Consulting, Inc., a HUB Company. It specializes in Food Service Management Consulting and Advisory, Technical and Marketing Services and is marketed to all areas of food service including premier health care and corporate organizations.

Bonnie serves as a Clinical Adjunct Faculty Member of the University of Houston, Dietetic Internship Program, San Jacinto Junior College and as a preceptor for the Distance Learning Program of Auburn University.

Bonnie received her B.S. degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Houston, her M.S. from Texas Woman's University. She holds American Dietetic Association registration and Licensure in the state of Texas. Her professional career began with her work at Rice University and progressed through the years to serve as president of her company, BLB Consulting, Inc.

In addition to her professional activities she enjoys reading, exercise, cooking and the arts.

She is the proud mother of Megan McCarty, Licensed Professional Counselor, and son, Stephen McCarty, an agent with the Texas Alcohol Beverage Commission at the headquarters in Austin..
